Lower School students coasted down "Slip N Slides" and ran through sprinklers to celebrate meeting their summer reading challenge "Ice Cream for Books." Head of Lower School Noreen Lidston, dressed as an ice cream sundae, and Headmaster Charlie Britton, clad in an ice cream man suit, arrived on the scene in a traditional white ice cream truck to deliver treats to students.The Lower School students read a combined total of 5,123 books to earn this summer fun on a school day. Their goal was 3,500 books.
