Middle School Geography Bee
All Middle School students gathered in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre on January 9 to watch 25 of their classmates compete in the finals of McDonogh's 15th Annual Geography Bee. The anticipation and excitement was the same as it is each year, the only visible difference was that everyone was decked out in purple in support of the Ravens playoff game the next day. Each contestant secured a spot on stage by first becoming the champion in their social studies class. After an hour and a half of difficult questions and impressive answers, eighth grader Josh V. was declared the winner.
