Roots Potato Harvest
Volunteers of all ages gathered at the 1-acre McDonogh Roots garden on September 19 and 20 and harvested 4,000 pounds of potatoes. On September 22, Middle School students loaded sacks of potatoes onto a Maryland Food Bank truck. Much of the produce is being donated to charities. The rest will be used in the dining hall.
