One Potato, Two Potato
About 35 volunteers planted the first crop of potatoes in the Roots garden on Saturday, April 10. After Kirk Robertson dug trenches with the tractor, volunteers spread seed potatoes every eight inches and covered them with dirt. One mom said she couldn't think of a better thing to do on her birthday!
