Students Rewarded With Visit From Globetrotter
On Monday, November 8, Mrs. Irving's first graders from last year received a private visit from Harlem Globetrotter Andre "Hot Shot" Branch for finishing top two in the Howard Johnson's nationwide "The Give Happy Challenge." After autographing items for the finalists, Hot Shot mesmerized the entire Lower School with his basketball wizardry. He also talked to students about the importance of teamwork.
