Blankets of Hope
Third graders used money that they earned shining shoes earlier this fall to purchase material to make fleece blankets for cancer patients. At a special chapel on November 30, the students presented 28 handmade blankets that they created with sixth grade partners and "Dreaming of Hope" books with their own inspirational poems to The Red Devils, which provides services to breast cancer patients and their families.
