Alumni of the cavalry and riding programs celebrated their history on horseback at the first-ever Cavalry Reunion on April 30. Members of the cavalry from the classes of 1935 to 1974 recalled their unique and treasured roles in the semi-military program. Riders from the 70s through today were also on hand to celebrate. The group dedicated a brick patio adjacent to the new Eagle's Nest indoor riding arena. At the same time, current riders honored Streett Moore for his 25 years as director of McDonogh Riding.
